Lascaux 4 : International Centre of Cave Art

La grotte de Lascaux est l?un des sites archéologiques les plus importants au monde, avec plus de 600 peintures et gravures qui datent de la préhistoire. Elle a été découverte par hasard par des adolescents en 1940 et est rapidement devenue célèbre pour ses peintures et gravures exceptionnelles, qui représentent principalement des animaux, tels que des bisons, des chevaux, des cerfs et des aurochs, mais on y trouve également des scènes de chasse et de rituels religieux.

The Montgolfière et Châteaux team, composed of passionate professionals, will share with you their pleasure of flying in a hot air balloon while offering you the best views of the jewels of the Périgord Noir. The balloon glides gently over the castles, along the river in the breeze to offer you the most beautiful journey? An unforgettable moment of weightlessness!

Because we want to welcome you in the best possible conditions, we are currently carrying out work around the swimming pool. Removal of the pool enclosure, installation of a heat pump for a heated pool with a breathtaking view over the surrounding valley.
