Caves of the Roc de Cazelle

Numerous scenes recreating the lives of our ancestors take you back in time, from prehistoric times and the Middle Ages to 1966, when a farming couple moved into a monolithic house carved entirely out of the rock (with a large collection of old objects and tools, and farm animals). The traditional dwelling has been reconstructed here, in keeping with the customs and history of the Périgord region. The entire trail is equipped with educational signposts providing a coherent, chronological overview of the occupation of the cliffs through the ages.
