Our large group holiday cottage à Vézac, in Dordogne, accommodates up to 20 people in a converted former tobacco drying shed, 10 km from Sarlat. Ideal for bringing together a large tribe around a long table, the gîte offers the hotel-style comfort of private accommodation within the authentic setting of the Black Perigord.
Ten rooms from bungalow independent ones each have their private shower room and WC.

The family reunion or your club's trip has been in the planning for months. Messages are flying back and forth on the WhatsApp group, availability is being sorted, and then comes the real question: where to put everyone up without anyone having to sleep on a sofa or five people sharing a bathroom? Here, every bedroom has its own outdoor entrance, shower and toilet. Everyone's privacy is preserved.
In the evening, a large gathering around the table in the common room, barbecue under the stars. The covered patio becomes your headquarters when it rains. The commercial kitchen faces the dining room. Large enough for a table of 20, with a gas range cooker and a commercial dishwasher.
In the morning, the bravest set off to walk alongside the Dordogne as far as Beynac.

The holiday cottage is located on the Camping les Cinq Châteaux site. Set apart from the heart of the estate to preserve your privacy, yet close enough for you to enjoy the amenities.
Black Perigord
From the holiday cottage, a whole week of activities can be organised without a car. The Dordogne runs alongside the estate and its pedestrian banks lead directly to the châteaux of Beynac and Castelnaud. The Marqueyssac Gardens are less than 2 kilometres away.
Sarlat is 10 kilometres away, its medieval alleyways, son market on Wednesdays and Saturdays, its local produce and summer night market are unmissable highlights of Golden Triangle of the Périgord Noir.
Further on, a 40-minute drive away, is the prehistoric site of Lascaux IV and its reconstructed frescoes, 17,000 years old. Listed as UNESCO, they remain one of the greatest experiences in the Dordogne.

Change your perspective on the valley. Embark from La La Roque-Gageac on board a barge, the flat-bottomed boat that once sailed up the rivers of Périgord. Uninterrupted view of the cliffs and the castles, the boatman's commentary and strolling as you go.

Yes, the free private car park adjacent to the guesthouse is suitable for groups. A minibus and several cars can park easily. Unload easily, everything is close at hand.
