While the tiny houses and chalets are grouped in a prime location : Dead end of the Bohemians. Not far from the River Dordogne, a path through the meadow leads to a dead end. This is the neighbourhood of the curious, of lovers of calm and of’atypical. Only the song of the crickets pierces the silence.
In the background, four medieval castles dominate the valley facing you: Lacoste, Fayrac, Castelnaud and Marqueyssac. Within walking distance for a car-free holidays.
And the takeoff field of hot air balloons borders the campsite. In the morning, you drink your coffee on the wooden terrace. A hot-air balloon skims the Dordogne, rises slowly above Castelnaud, and disappears behind it Beynac.
That's it, Impasse des Bohèmes. In the evening, same terrace, same view, a glass of Bergerac by hand.

Car-free holidays
The family campsite Les Cinq Châteaux, ideally situated in the Golden Triangle of the Périgord Noir, is located close to the main tourist sights in the surrounding area for car-free holidays.
One morning, you lace up your trainers and set off on foot towards the Château de Beynac 15 minutes away. A shaded path runs alongside the river. The next day, head towards the castles of Castelnaud or Marqueyssac.
The canoe, the hot-air balloon and the hiking trails start directly from the campsite.
It is impossible to visit the Périgord Noir without tasting the local specialities: foie gras, duck confit, nuts, strawberries, Bergerac wine. A 30-minute drive away, you will find Sarlat and its famous market. You wander through the aisles, discovering the traditional local cuisine.
For history enthusiasts, the prehistory is less than an hour away, with the Lascaux caves listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
And if you want to go a bit further, the Lot is an hour's drive away. The Padirac chasm and Rocamadour are unmissable.
No. We have chosen not to install any, in keeping with our eco-responsible positioning in the Dordogne, which is classified Biosphere reserve by UNESCO. The shade of the tall trees and the river breeze provide natural comfort.
Apart from the tiny house which is for two people, all the other accommodation can welcome children. Besides, they love the wooden cabin vibe of the chalets or the safari adventure spirit of the lodge tents. And to make your stay easier, we offer in location you baby equipment.
In unconventional accommodation, the conditions for welcoming dogs vary depending on the period and the rental units. In summer, we only accept them in certain Classic lodge tents. Outside the summer season, they are also accepted in Privilege lodge tents. Please feel free to contact us for further details.
