The Lascaux cave is one of the most important archaeological sites in the world, with over 600 paintings and engravings dating back to prehistoric times. It was discovered by chance by teenagers in 1940 and quickly became famous for its exceptional paintings and engravings, which mainly depict animals such as bison, horses, deer and aurochs, but also include scenes of hunting and religious rituals.

Shortly before sunset, or in the early hours of the morning, after a few preparations, you take to the skies for a majestic discovery of the valley of the castles in the Dordogne. The Montgolfière et Châteaux team of passionate professionals will share their passion for hot-air ballooning with you, while offering you the best views of the jewels of the Périgord Noir. The balloon glides gently over the châteaux, following the river as the breeze blows, offering you the most beautiful of journeys... An unforgettable moment of weightlessness!
